Product photos, contact pictures, employee badges: Odoo shows them as small thumbnails, and at most enlarges them in a tooltip that disappears as soon as the mouse moves. With this module, every image gets a magnifier button. Click it and the picture opens full screen at its original resolution, in the same viewer Odoo uses for chatter attachments, where you can zoom, move around, rotate, print or download it.
Works on every image in Odoo as soon as it is installed: no setting to change and no screen to adapt.
Shows the original picture, not the thumbnail, so you can check a label, a part number or a defect.
When several records have pictures, such as the lines of a list, move from one to the next with the arrows or the keyboard.

A magnifier on every image
Hover over a picture and a magnifier appears in its corner. On a form you can also click the picture itself. Nothing has to be configured: products, contacts, employees and any other record with an image get it.

The image opens over the page at its original size. Zoom with the mouse wheel or the buttons, drag to move around, rotate it, print it or download it. Escape closes it.
Lists and kanban cards too
Every card or line with a picture gets its own magnifier, so you can look at a photo without opening the record. Clicking the card itself still opens the record, as before. On phones and tablets the magnifier is always shown.
Before you rely on it
- Nothing to configure. Installing the module is enough; it can be turned off on a single field if a screen should not have it.
- Original resolution. When a screen shows a small copy of a picture, the viewer opens the full-size one.
- Several pictures. When an image belongs to a line of a list inside a form, the arrows walk through the pictures of the other lines; lines without one are skipped.
- Some cards keep their behaviour. Kanban cards that draw their picture without an image field are not covered, and widgets that already have their own full-screen view, such as the Barcode app's product preview, are left alone.
- Downloads. The download button saves the full-size picture, with the record's name in the viewer header.
